Situated in the heart of the quiet village of Edinbane , which sits at the end of Loch Greshornish just off the main A850 between Portree and Dunvegan. Kenneth MacLeod of Gesto developed the village of Edinbane in the early 1800’s. He ensured that the village had a tradesman from each of the important skills, and he set up the first hospital on Skye in Edinbane, named Gesto, and now the location of Owlswood and Owls Nest. apartments.
