We’re also less than a 10-minute walk from the Tunnels Beaches wedding venue. 🌿 The Apartments: The Bolt Hole – Lower ground floor apartment with private entrance and on-site parking. The Hideout – Ground floor apartment with garden views. Free or low-cost on-street parking available nearby. Both apartments feature our signature mix of vintage finds, original artwork, and bright, spacious interiors, offering a refreshing alternative to the typical coastal stay. 🌞 Garden Access: Guests are welcome to enjoy our private communal garden – a peaceful, sun-drenched spot tucked behind the terrace. 🎨 Creative Extras: We also run BANK, our dedicated creative space nearby, where we host workshops, events, and Makers' Socials. We’re a creative family who made the move from Brighton to beautiful Ilfracombe, North Devon — and we’ve never looked back. That first drive down the hill into town at dusk, with the lights twinkling all the way to the sea, was when we knew we’d found home. We've been welcoming guests to stay at Paramount Apartments Ilfracombe for over five years now, offering a chance to experience our unique, design-led style first-hand. I'm a designer-maker and stylist with a love for textiles, car boot finds, and vintage treasures — all of which inspire the look and feel of our apartments. Our home life is shared with our two daughters, a wise old tortoise, and a slightly bonkers but very lovable hound. We love the coastal lifestyle here — surfing, sea swims, clifftop walks — and we’re always happy to share local recommendations, hidden spots, and our favourite beaches. We recently launched BANK, our creative space in the heart of town. It’s where we host Makers' Socials, creative workshops, and events, and guests are always welcome to join in if there’s something happening during your stay. During your visit, I can be as hands-on or hands-off as you like — whether you’re after total privacy or curious to get local tips, I'm here to help make your stay as relaxing and inspiring as possible.

Ilfracombe is a vibrant, friendly town with lots to offer. The Paramount Apartments are very central so there are a host of activities to do on the doorstep, award winning beaches, amazing surf pretty much all year, cinema, aquarium, breathtaking walks on the South West Coastal Path and much more. Exmoor and Dartmoor national parks are great day trips. The Terrace is quiet and has a lovely friendly community. Your stay here will give you a real feel of our community, the local area and the people who live here. The popular wedding venue Tunnels Beaches is just 10 mins walk so a great place and backdrop for your pre wedding snaps! Situated only 15 mins from Woolacombe its perfect for that surf or beach break. South West Coastal Path is just a short walk. There are plenty of local buses and taxis are available round the clock. Happy to recommend a driver we regularly use. Nearest train station is Barnstaple, 25 mins drive away. Nearest airports are Bristol and Exeter.
