Nestled in the heart of Perthshire in the Scottish Highlands, this 4-star luxury retreat has 32 unique rooms and is sheltered amongst 10 acres of lush gardens and woodlands, offering the perfect Scottish escape. The epitome of Scottish hospitality, guests will be welcomed with delicious locally sourced produce in the restaurant as well as a range of malt whiskies to suit the most discerning of tastes. The hotel is steeped in history and many rooms offer spectacular views of the lush grounds and valleys. All rooms are extremely luxurious with distinguished rural touches and bespoke furnishings. Vast woodlands that surround the hotel are home to a variety of wildlife including red squirrels and deer and there are ample activities in Pitlochry and the surrounding areas to suit all tastes. Dogs are very welcome to stay in all rooms within our Coach House which includes the Coach House Suite and the Coach House Luxe Suite. Please let us know when making your reservation if you plan to bring your furry friend along.

Some of my favourite things to do are to go to the Pitlochry Theatre which is just a short drive from the hotel. I also enjoy popping up to the Cuilc which is a charming pond with a scenic backdrop of Ben Vrackie. You can feed the swans and ducks as you stroll along to the golf course which is only five minutes walk from the hotel.

There is plenty to see and do in the nearby areas. In the local area we have the Pitlochry Festival Theatre for some wonderful entertainment in the evening. Edradour Distillery and Blair Atholl Distillery are both within just a short 5 minute drive from our Hotel. If you enjoy walking and sightseeing we have many local sites for you to visit such as: Queens View, Ben Vrackie, Faskally wood Pitlochry Dam and Fish Ladder and Blair Castle are all just a short distance away. If you fancy a little shopping we have the House of Bruar which is only twenty minutes drive away.

Please note that the rooms in the hotel are situated on the first and second floor and there is no lift. Porterage is available at all times.

The hotel are happy to accept dogs by prior arrangement, provided that they are quiet and well behaved. There is a nightly charge for this and owners are held responsible should any damage occur during their stay.

Pine Trees Hotel Pitlochry does not accept reservations for more than 4 rooms.

Guests must advise the hotel in advance of any children wishing to use the sofa beds.
