Enjoy a unique experience at the private, luxury and idyllic River Mill Retreat. The Barge is available for a day trip with bookings of three days or more at an additional cost. This will be skippered. On entering, this gorgeous property boasts a large, spacious and open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen with heaters and cosy log burner. The contemporary style kitchen nestles a gas oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and coffee machine along with all the kitchen equipment you need to make your stay so very comfortable. The luxury, modern bathroom provides toilet, sink, bath and a large walk-in shower complete with soft, fluffy towels and luxury products. The main bedroom is furnished with a sumptuous king size bed in beautiful linen, large mirrored wardrobes, television and sun roof that opens whilst you enjoy the sunshine with your morning coffee in bed. The lovely guest bedroom has a double bed, wardrobes and television complete with co-ordinated bedding and decor. Out on the lovely deck area, there is a seating and dining area with a canopy to enjoy the stunning views. The large, breath-taking garden accommodates a jacuzzi, fire pit, and a dry cosy snug.
I love gardening and travelling to see different parts of the world. Gardening is my passion!
The River Mill Retreat is a 70 ft two bedroom barge on the tranquil River Stort set in a beautiful landscaped garden allowing you to unwind amidst a serene backdrop of wonderful canal views, set on the edge of the historic market town, Bishops Stortford.
