Between the stylish Regency town of Sidmouth and the Victorian resort of Budleigh Salterton in one of Devon's most beautiful coastal valleys is the picturesque village of Otterton. Otterton Mill, on the approach to the village is a working water mill, powered by the River Otter, around which has grown up a cafe serving good food, a gallery showing local arts and crafts, and a venue where popular music nights take place. Robin Cottage, at the end of the main street leading through the village is a Grade II listed, thatched property. This sweet cottage has masses of charm, you'll find a wood burning stove in the comfortable lounge and in the smart kitchen/diner a farmhouse style wooden table and chairs. A wooden, spiral staircase leads to the first floor and two attractive bedrooms, a double with views over the garden and a twin bedroom at the front of the cottage. The garden is sheltered, enclosed and mostly laid to lawn with a small patio area, table and chairs. The beach at Ladram Bay is only half a mile away, where pale grey shingle contrasts against the deep, rich, red cliffs and you can join the South Devon Coast Path. There is a pet surcharge - 30 GBP per pet/ per week. Note: Care is needed on wooden stairs to first floor. Parking is on road, however there are no restrictions and you can usually park just outside the cottage. Note: Pets are charged at 30.00 per pet, per week (or short break)Note: For any holiday starting between 16th September and 27th May, a heating supplement of 20 will be added to the cost of your holiday.

Three miles from the Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth, and one mile from the SW Coastal Path on the Jurassic Coast. Ladram Bay is one mile away. Inland, footpaths follow the River Otter where fox, badger and birdlife can be seen, down the road is Bicton Park and Botanical Garden. Visit the flour mill on the River Otter. Dartmoor is under an hour away while Exeter with its shopping centre, cinemas, clubs and restaurants is 10 miles away.
