Property information

Saltmarsh is a beautiful 16th Century farmhouse with 6 guest rooms and a cafe set in the stunning rural location of the Seven Sisters Country Park. As the only Bed & Breakfast set within the Country Park we are uniquely located to offer the best experience of this area of outstanding natural beauty.

Neighbourhood information

Whether it’s the captivating panoramic view of Seven Sisters cliffs or the UK's highest chalk sea cliff at Beachy Head, this South East coastline of Britain has has provided an exhilarating backdrop to so many movies including the quidditch scenes from Harry Potter - The Goblet of Fire, Atonement, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, to name a few. Stretching nearly 10km, the Seven Sisters form perhaps the most challenging section of the South Downs Way. Whether you are an experienced walker, or simply seeking the famous views of the white chalk cliffs, there are plenty of scenic coastal trails on offer. Headed West, Brighton is just a short bus or car journey away. Pay a visit to witness eccentricity in all its splendour. Just eight miles along the coast, there are many iconic sights, boutique shops and quirky places to eat and drink that will keep you busy until the early hours. To the East there is Eastbourne, recently names as Time Outs top place to visit in 2023 - walk the South Downs way from Saltmarsh to Eastbourne and enjoy this hidden gem. With Rathfinny Winery and Vineyard on our doorstep and the Long Man Brewery even closer, this area has so much to offer every one.
