Our fully equipped kitchen contains everything you’ll need to cook up a storm. We’ve even installed a dishwasher, as who wants to spend time washing up when you’re on holiday! The living area and kitchen are open plan with a door leading through to the bedroom and ensuite with a very generously sized shower cubicle.
The patio doors lead out from the living room onto a raised, decked area where, weather permitting, you can wile away the hours with a good book and a cuppa or looking out for a sea eagle.
A picnic bench is situated outdoors where you can dine al fresco and listen to the waves crashing onto the beach.
This is our first holiday season after spending the last year building our lovely new cabin. We also run our croft, keeping alive a herd of sheep, 2 horses, 2 KuneKune pigs a few chickens, 3 dogs, 1 cat and our 8 year old daughter!!
Clashnessie is a small crofting community lying eight miles north of Lochinver. it boasts a beautiful sheltered sandy beach and a magnificent waterfall. It is quiet and peaceful and a wonderful base for exploring the north west coast of Scotland.
