This recently renovated cosy stone cottage (dating back to 1700s) in the Snowdonia village of Dolwyddelan has an inglenook fireplace at its heart and direct views of Moel Siabod. The compact kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, fridge, air fryer & microwave. The ground floor bathroom has a large shower, wc and sink. The main bedroom has a king sized bed, the other bedroom a bunk bed. Ideally suited for 2 adult couples or a family of up to 4. You will be blown away by the views of Moel Siabod to the back, which you can see from the kitchen and lounge areas. There are private gardens front and back, with seating to enjoy the peace and quiet and take in the views. A firepit barbecue is provided for al fresco cooking & dining. Ponies live in the field at the back of the property and will come for a carrot and a nuzzle if you are gentle. There is a Spar shop for basics in the village and 2 pubs which serve good food. The village is 10 minutes away from Betwys y Coed which has a host of shops, eateries and things to do. Blaenau Ffestiniog is also 10 minutes away, famous for its steam trains to the top of Snowdon and the seaside town of Porthmadog. Porthmadog, Portmeirion and Black Rock Sands are approx 30 minutes’ drive away for all things seaside. Llanrwst is a market town, 10 minutes away where you can buy all the groceries that you will need, plus gas and market on Tuesdays. Zip World’s range of activities are within easy reach making this excellent base for all options to enjoy Snowdonia.

The village is an ideal base for all Snowdonia has to offer, from hiking and escaping to places where you will see no-one, to the thrills and excitement of Zip World's many sites in the area. y Wyddfa or Snowdon is the main attraction and you are perfectly located for a climb; Moel Siabod is seen directly from the cottage - how cool to climb it then relax with a beer watching the sun set over it from our garden! There are lots of walks/hikes from the cottage, and we supply a number of walking guides for loan during your stay. Within walking distance we recommend Y Gwydyr for food and drink, and there are numerous places a 10 minute drive away in Betwys Y Coed,
