Dating back to 1790, our spacious 3 bedroom apartment has recently been meticulously renovated to celebrate its rich history, whilst offering a luxuriously modern living experience. Situated in the heart of the old town, the Castle, Tolbooth and Old Town Jail are right on your doorstep, with the cities top restaurants and bars just a short walk away. Our 18th Century, Grade B Listed Building is packed full of Character, part of which is its original stair-tower within a spiral turret, akin to many of the castles in Scotland. Guests are advised, there are two flights of stairs to reach us on the second floor; but we promise the stunning views overlooking the city can certainly justify it!

Nicknamed the 'Gateway to the Highlands', Stirling is Ideally located to base your Scottish expedition centrally between Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Highlands. With an abundance to offer, St Johns Jailhouse Stirling is a destination in its own right. Locally known as 'Top of the Town', Stirling's old town is home to some of Scotland's most prized historic attractions, whilst only being within a 5-10 minute walk of award winning bars and restaurants as well as two large supermarkets. Our neighbours at the Old Town Jail and Tolbooth are host to some incredible weekly events and tours as well as the Tourist Information Centre. A favourite of ours being the evening Ghost Walk by the late hangman of Stirling. Do beware, you might find out more than you desire about what lurks next door! The city’s compact nature, makes it highly walkable with nearly all amenities within a 10 minute walk from the centre. If you are venturing beyond Stirling, the rail station is a 10 minute walk from the apartment, with links to Edinburgh Waverly (48 minutes) and Glasgow Queen Street (34 minutes).
