If we could walk on just one beach for the rest of our lives, it would be our beach right here in Alnmouth. With its amazing expanse of sand and pretty estuary that looks picture postcard all year through, it’s one of the nicest beaches on the heritage coast. We also think of Alnmouth as the amazing beach with a charming village attached. A place where everyone says hello, there’s something to enjoy whatever time of year you visit. Super dog friendly, it offers some of the area’s best pubs and restaurants too – make sure you read our food and drink section if, like us, you like your nosh. As an area of outstanding natural beauty, Alnmouth attracts a lot of walkers, cyclists and surfers.
