Our double ensuite room has a seating area and a king sized bed. It has a tea and coffee making area and fresh milk can be provided. There is underfloor heating controlled by a thermostat in the room and an electric fire and electric blanket for supplementary heating. Large double patio doors open onto a private parking area. There is a very varied breakfast menu which is served in the kitchen and guests also have access to the garden and the lounge and conservatory . We also provide packed lunches on request (extra charges apply)
I am a Complementary Therapist with a treatment room in the house. I specialise in Allergy Testing and Treatment, Reiki and Health Kinesiology . I love meeting people, but am also happy to give them their own space if that is what they want. I enjoy cycling and we welcome walkers and cyclists, with secure storage for bicycles and drying facilities for wet gear. I have a lovely house in quiet but conveniently situated countryside and enjoy sharing it with other people. My husband, Dave and I love to travel and I play the flute in several windbands. We both love food, and are also partial to the odd glass of wine. We welcome vegetarians and cater for them with our breakfast menu. We have 4 star rating as a B and B with the Welsh Tourist Board.
Talybont is a picturesque village, 7 miles from Aberystwyth and 10 miles from the market town of Machynlleth. The sandy beaches of Borth are only a short drive away, so Talybont is an ideal central location from which to explore the local attractions: The house is situated on a quiet back road within easy walking distance of the centre of the village which has a pub, restaurant, convenience store, garage, chemist and hairdresser. There is an hourly bus service to Aberystwyth and Machynlleth but a car is recommended to do justice to the beautiful attractions the area has to offer

Takeaway restaurants can be found within 2 miles of the property and guests can eat in the garden (weather permitting) or in their rooms.

Talybont is on the A487 Aberystwyth to Machynlleth road. At the village green, turn left if coming from Machynlleth, right if coming from Aberystwyth, follow the road up the right hand side of the Black Lion, continue past some new houses on your left. The road then goes sharp right in front of a pair of Victorian semi-detached houses. Do not take this road, but instead, follow the lane which goes straight on up the left hand side of these houses between the houses and the post box. Llysmeirion is the fourth house on the left.
