A cosy cottage letting set within a private small holding, situated right on the shore of Strangford Lough between Killyleagh & Killinchy. It is the perfect base to escape to the country, enjoy amazing wildlife and the wider great outdoors that Co. Down has to offer. The well equipped comfortable cottage sleeps five and has direct access to Strangford Lough, a secret bird hide situated on the shore line with a secluded wooded BBQ, fire pit and picnic area for guest to enjoy. A welcome breakfast pack is including home made wheaten bread, butter, jam, half a dozen of our own hens eggs, milk and tea and coffee. Complimentary fire wood for the stove, charcoal for the BBQ and picnic utensils are provided for guests use. An open canoe and life jackets are available to hire during your stay to let guests explore the water and near by islands.

The property owners, their two friendly dogs and Connemara ponies also live on site. We are here to share our knowledge and experience to help you enjoy your stay and explore some special off the beaten track localities.

The cottage is very rural and a car is needed to access the property and explore the local area.
