I have owned The Braemar Southport since 2016 and have maintained a home from home setting with quite a few improvements along the way. The Braemar is in the centre of the busy town of Southport, yet once inside you will find peace and quiet. All rooms have an internet connected Smart Flat Screens TVs and charging points for your gadgets. I try to go the extra mile for my guests and will always help out where I can. With me doing the meeting and greeting and presenting you with a lovely room, your stay at the Braemar will, I am sure be a good one. We now have a minimum number of two nights per booking. We have achieved "Finalist" status in the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards in the Guesthouse of the Year category for the last three years. We actually won the category in 2023. The Braemar Southport is probably the nearest Guesthouse to the very centre of Southport and we provide four star standards with home comforts and a welcoming smile. Liverpool is only 45 mins away by train, so why pay Liverpool hotel and parking prices when you can stay with us for much less and travel in by train. The train service to Liverpool is excellent and the tickets are really cheap - ask for a Day Saver ticket. The trains are every 15 mins. The last train home is 11.30pm, so you can have a full day out. You can even get to Chester using the same ticket. Our prices are shown on a "Room Only" basis, although we also offer a full breakfast service for an extra cost. We serve breakfast at 9am, although there are numerous restaurants and cafes close by that offer breakfast right up until midday, allowing you to have a relaxing lie in without having to rush. Here are some highlights of staying at The Braemar Southport... 1) Free WiFi throughout the property. 2) Free parking in front of the premises for up to 7 cars. 3) Complimentary toiletries in each room. 4) All rooms are En-suite with shower. 5) All rooms have a hair dryer, fan and a fridge for guest use. 6) No smoking policy throughout. 7) An Iron and Ironing board is available should you need one. 8) The Braemar is also licensed to sell alcohol and have a good selection of beers wines and spirits. As an extra treat, guests can now request to have champagne, chocolates, or flowers placed in their room prior to arrival, just contact us for further details. We now also offer an online video chat facility, so that guests can chat with their loved ones in other parts of the world. We now have available to guest a 22kwh EV charging station (Extra cost)

The Braemar is really well situated with everything you need pretty much round the corner. The train station is only 8 minutes walk away. There are Eight championship golf courses close by, so if you are playing golf in Southport or the surrounding area and need top class accommodation in Southport and need your golf clubs and equipment looked after securely, then the Breamar Southport is the place for you. You will also find shopping galore in nearby Lord Street and the smaller side streets in the area. The Braemar Southport is a golf friendly hotel. We can look after your equipment, inside our secure storage room, so you don't need to leave it in your car. Southport is getting a new conference centre which will provide many extra facilities. The town currently has two theatres within walking distance to the Braemar. Southport has a vibrant and varied nightlife, with pretty much every type of pub or club to cater for all tastes and we have a large variety of restaurants and food establishments to satisfy your taste buds. All this and more just round the corner.
