Heidi’s Lodge offers five uniquely decorated rooms, each designed for comfort and relaxation. Many of our rooms boast stunning views of the picturesque surroundings, while two feature private balconies, perfect for unwinding in the fresh air. Notably, Room 4 is a delightful double room with a Juliette balcony, complemented by charming low ceiling beams. Each room includes a television, tea and coffee making facilities, and an en-suite bathroom, with most featuring separate bath and shower options. Guests can also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the lodge, ensuring a seamless connection during your stay. Breakfast is served in the cafe downstairs at the Lodge between 8am and 9am. Situated in the heart of Grasmere, Heidi’s Lodge is just under a mile from Dove Cottage, the former home of the renowned poet William Wordsworth. While exploring this enchanting village, you can discover the serene lake and browse a variety of independent shops. Our lodge serves as an ideal base for embarking on numerous walking trails around Grasmere, including the famous Coast to Coast walk that stretches from St Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hood's Bay in North Yorkshire.
