The Hayloft is a light and airy barn conversion with exposed oak features.The ground floor has an open plan living area with a block paved courtyard patio. Full height glazing lets plenty of light and sunshine flood in. Outside there is a completely private fenced area featuring flower bed, mature hedge and a garden table with 6 chairs. In summer a gas BBQ is supplied. There are three bedrooms upstairs: Master with King bed ,ensuite shower room eith heated towel rail , TV & farm views; a Double room ; a Twin bunk bed room and a Family bathroom with heated towel rail and in tub shower. The master bedroom has front facing floor to ceiling windows giving far reaching views across the farm & countryside. There is plenty of off road parking for 3 cars & a private entrance . Guests will benefit from the onsite facilities which include a fishing reservoir ( day tickets required) , The Barn cafe ( open 7 days doing breakfasts/ lunches & afternoon teas ), The Pink Parrot pottery painting & craft studio and Made By You - make your own pottery. This location means guests are close to local beaches , golf courses, theme parks and attractions,discount shopping centres, parks , historic buildings, Colchester Zoo , Colchester Castle and even London the nations capital just one hour away by train.

Hello. I am a working mum to 4 children and we live here on the farm . I enjoy travelling , meeting new people, watching comedy, football and gymnastics. I love Italian food and listening to the piano. Its wonderful meeting my guests and finding out where they are from and what brings them to my area. I have travelled to Europe ,Asia and the US. We will meet you shortly after arrival to help familiarize you with the accommodation and its features, the local area and answer any questions guests may have. We live nearby to assist guests should they require it.

Great Bentley is a large but quiet and safe rural community with good local facilities like a Tesco express, Chinese takeaway, hairdessers & beauticians and 2 pubs. The Hayloft is located at the centre of a working farm alongside a cafe ( daytime only) and craft studio but remaining totally private and not adverse noise affected. There is also a fishing lake on the farm .
