In winter the fire can be lit ready for your arrival to ensure a cosy welcome awaits. We are situated right beside The Strawberry Line and offer bicycle hire and walking routes for guests to explore this extraordinarily beautiful area.

I love travelling and staying in beautiful places. Hopefully I have brought some of these touches to The Hideaway plus a little bit more. All our soft furnishings, mattresses etc are regularly refreshed and replaced. The outdoor areas change with the seasons which is all part of the attraction at our beautiful part of SW England. A stay away is somewhere where I want guests to feel relaxed, spoilt and leave feeling refreshed !

A very well situated rural location just 5 minutes from Shepton Mallet at the foot of The Mendip Hills, 10 mins from the beautiful, historic city of Wells, which is full of independent shops, cafes, Cathedral and twice weekly wonderful markets, just 35 mins from the cultural cities of Bath and Bristol. Glastonbury 15mins, Longleat, Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge and so many other attractions in our wonderful area. We have a 'tried and tested' in room guide of places to visit, eat out, shop or explore. This South West area of England really has something for everyone.
