The Lambing Shed is set on a croft in the small crofting community of Borreraig overlooking stunning views of Dunvegan Loch and the historical MacCrimmon Cairn. Its blissfully peaceful, with a real sense of ‘getting away from it all’, a perfect romantic getaway destination and ideally situated for exploring North Skye. The Lambing Shed is contemporary, with handmade bespoke leather chesterfield sofas, hademade Harris Tweed feature headboard, Scandinavian style furniture, artwork and a ceramic tiled floor. The accommodation is spacious with a double walk in rain shower, double basin, kingsize bed, open plan living, with dining area and fully fitted and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, double oven, microwave and coffee machine. There is a boot room area for outdoor gear with a washing machine and tumble drier. A lovely outside space with seating to watch the sunrise and look out for dolphins and other amazing wildlife . The Lambing Shed is situated on a croft in Borreraig overlooking the historic MacCrimmon Cairn And has amazing views of Dunvegan Loch and the rugged coast line, it embraces the beautiful landscape with views towards the outer isles and big skies at night. It’s a totally peaceful and blissful location with real sense of being ‘ away from it all’. Dunvegan is a 10 - 15 minute drive, there is The Castle, shops, restaurants, cafes, convenience store, bakers, a takeawy and a post office. There are many tourist attractions on Skye, the Old Man of Storr, Talisker, the Cuilllins , Leat Falls, Kilt Rock, Coral Beach, Orsay Island and Fairy Pools are all within an short drive. There are plenty of walks and hikes nearby and further afield there are many other landmarks and points of interest to travel to for a day out. For foodies we are spoilt on Skye with the world famous Three Chimneys being only 5 miles away. Other amazing restaurants such as Lochbay, Greshornish house, Edinbane Lodge And Kinloch Lodge are all on the island, Kinloch Lodge being the furthest at 1.20 hour drive.
