Our little family run luxury glamping pod has that 'close to nature' feel but with all the home comforts you need for a wee break away. Whether it be a few days exploring or just a much needed rest, you can enjoy the Scottish elements by day and cosy in at night with the underfloor heating toasting your feet.
Why not sit out on the decking with a refreshment and enjoy the most amazing sunsets, sunrises and rainbows….Kilmichael will not disappoint.
The pod is situated in our garden. However, we will respect your privacy and leave you to enjoy your stay. Please feel free to contact us should you have any queries during your stay and we will be more than happy to help.
The surrounding area is a haven for the outdoor enthusiast with opportunities for walkers, cyclists, golfers, bird watchers and anglers. There are also lovely beaches to explore and we can vouch that they are fabulous for any budding paddle-boarders!
The nearby Crinan Canal, considered the gateway to the West Coast, is on our doorstop and is a great day out cycling or walking watching the boats go by.
There is a footpath link from Dunadd Fort to the Crinan Canal & Kilmartin. Legend has it that the Stone of Destiny was used at Dunadd Fort in the crowning of the first King of Scotland.
Kilmartin Glen is steeped in history with its prehistoric monuments including: chambered cairns, round cairns, standing stones and rock carvings.
There is free onsite parking at the pod. We are located approximately 3 miles from the nearest town, Lochgilphead. There is a bus stop in Kilmichael. Local bus timetable provided with bus connections to Glasgow, Oban, Campbeltown.
Local pub/restaurant ‘The Horseshoe Inn’ is within walking distance.
