Nestled away in the picturesque village of Parkgate is where you’ll find this newly refurbished Fisherman’s Cottage with a unique twist on it’s beautifully historic features. This cosy little cottage that is bursting with character and charm will be the perfect location for your coastal retreat. Not only boasting beautiful views across the Dee to North Wales, you will also find plenty to explore on your doorstep. The unique styling of this quirky home includes modern touches such as a fully functional log burning fire and underfloor heating in the bathroom and kitchen areas. There are USB sockets located in both of the bedrooms and in the kitchen. You will also find a king sized bed in the master bedroom and a double bed in the second bedroom. Due to the historic nature of the cottage, some guests may find the traditional staircase a little steep. Although we personally think it adds to the charm!

We've poured our hearts and souls into this unique stay and we believe that we've managed to create something warm, welcoming and a little bit quirky. When it comes to traveling and accommodation we have experienced the lot. Taking what we've learned, we have put together a space that we are sure will provide that home from home feeling for all of our guests. Of all the ways that we enjoy spending our time spare, nothing beats the simplicity of watching the sun go down. Parkgate is most definitely one of our favorite sunset spots! This unique little village is famous for its homemade ice cream, magnificent sunsets and the most delicious local fresh seafood. Not to mention then endless bird watching opportunities to experience across the Marshland. There is plenty to see and do during your time here in Parkgate. For those who love to get out and explore the local area on foot or fancy testing the nearby trails on your bike then you've certainly come to the right place. With the Wirral Way literally at the door, you can discover what was once part of an historic railway line running the length of the Wirral. There you will see that it is now home to the most beautiful wildlife and is an enjoyable way to pass the time for the whole family. If you fancy a trip into town you will find the city of Liverpool located 11 miles away or the historic Roman Amphitheater just 12 miles away in the city of Chester. So grab your walking boots and bicycles and come an explore what Cheshire has to offer.
