Sue, John and Beth welcome you to their family home. Sue is the friendly, helpful, smiley front of house hostess with the talent of making everyone feel at home from the first moment of their stay. Then there is John what to say, for those of a certain age Basil on a bad day for all others think grumpy Ganna. ​Please be aware his is known to be a bad Ganna with a sweet tin and he is NOT afraid to use it. You have been warned!! Sue would say our home is just a few meters from the beach which is amazing to wake up to every morning with spectacular sun rises and a different view every day. John"Its too early" Then there is our daughter Beth. She is the loud one and who is singlehandedly combating the use of the sweet tin on our guests and her daughters. Furry family members are also welcome, as are the children (They must be on a lead when in public areas) We all love our way of life and hope that come across to our guests during your stay. We are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week to help with any questions. Please just ring the front door bell.

The Redcliff is a 4 storey Georgian grade 2 listed building completed in 1827. Our accommodation comprises of 12 en suite rooms accessed by narrow stairs. We have 4 sea view rooms across 2 floors, these are rooms 4 and 10 on the first floor with bay windows. Rooms 6 and 12 on the second floor both having 2 large windows. We have a further 2 sea view rooms in the loft which are rooms 7 and 14. The ceiling up the stairs to room 7 is low and the stairs to room 14 are almost a vertical spiral. Rooms 3 and 9 are single rear facing rooms on the first floor. Rooms 5 and 11 are single rear facing rooms on the second floor. We also have rooms 2 and 8 which are double or twin rooms, these both have a double and a single bed which is perfect for small families. We love family holidays but be aware of our room occupancy limits. Travel cots are available in rooms 2,7,8,9,10, and 14. Spare beds and travel cots are available in rooms 6 and 12. We welcome family pets in all our accommodation but please bare in mind the access to the loft rooms due to the stairs. Pets are not permitted in our dining room during breakfast. (We offer a breakfast basket alternative if pets can not be left alone)

Our home is on Weymouth Bay. Part of the Jurassic coastal path. With award winning beaches, a spectacular harbour full of restaurants, cafes and bars. Within walking distance of The Redcliff we have Nothe Fort, Sea life Centre, Sand World and The Swannery with too many other attractions to mention. Take a short drive or bus trip we have the Tank Museum, Monkey World. Corfe Castle, Sandiford Castle, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. For those of a more traditional ilk we have a beautiful sandy beach with shallow waters (ideal for the kids) serviced by numerous beach side cafes and, of course, the RNLI life guard service. In the evenings there are restaurants to cater for every taste. From fish and chips on the harbour to curry houses, Chinese and of course the traditional English pubs. For the young or the young at heart there are also night clubs to visit.
