It’s also not far from a number of picturesque island towns and villages, including Bembridge Village, Ryde Town, St Helens, Ventnor and Freshwater. To begin your adventures, enjoy some local walks nearby and head to Hersey Nature Reserve, stroll around the wetlands, which provides a home to beautiful birds including Green Shank, Snipe, Shovelers, Little Egrets and flocks of Barnacle Geese. Two local bays: Priory Bay and Seagrove Bay offer a calm and idyllic beach spot with golden sands set against the treeline.
