The White Cottage was built C1840 & is situated in the heart of the quiet village of St Teath close to the North Cornish coast. While retaining many traditional features, beamed ceilings, window seats & an open fireplace the cottage has recently had German carbon fibre triple glazing installed throughout. A new double bedroom with well appointed high spec en-suite featuring a state of the art power shower, led lighting, sensor activated illuminated mirror, & high quality accessories. A separate cosy lounge & stylish dining room are both available for sole usage of our guests. Superfast broadband is free to visitors & the owners have installed USB charging ports in the bedroom. We ask that our visitors respect our home & have a strict no smoking policy in all areas of the house & garden. Due to offering allergy free rooms we are unable to accept pets at our accommodation.
Diane & Les have owned the cottage since the early 90's & have sympathetically renovated it over time & keeping a considerable amount of the original features such as beamed ceilings & an inglenook fireplace with clome oven. During November 2016 the guest dining room was totally renovated by putting in slate flooring, installing an Aga multi fuel stove & modern furniture.
St Teath is a small village with a friendly thriving community. As is the tradition with Cornish villages there is one local pub which serves good food, the church of St Tetha where bells are still rung on Sunday mornings & a post office.
