Underhill Coach House is a relaxed, luxury accommodation on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. The detached, stone-built Coach House has been recently and beautifully converted with a tasteful and contemporary design which provides that perfect peaceful break. Walking through the quaint little entrance door, you will be greeted with a beautiful, vaulted room where you will find an open plan kitchen and living area. A space full of design treasures and an outstanding view over the landscape. Beside the log burning stove in the living room, is a large window overlooking the Esk Valley towards Whitby. Sit, relax, watch the wildlife and drift away.

We are a family business owning two holiday properties, Underhill Coach House and Underhill Holiday Cottage. Both holiday homes are within the grounds of our family home. We are around if you need us, however, we tend to introduce ourselves then leave you alone to enjoy your stay.

Underhill Coach House is ideally situated for adventures big and small. The North Yorkshire Moors National Park is truly an experience to savour. The landscape and scenery is quite simply stunning with its variety of healthy moors, dark forests to rugged coast, walkers and hikers can enjoy this gorgeous wilderness on the doorstep of Underhill Coach House – Literally! Whitby is only 3 miles away and is certainly a town that offers something a little different to your ‘typical’ coastal resort. When you visit you can explore ornate cobbled paths, locally owned shops, and quirky cafes. Being by the sea you will also get to enjoy classic seaside fun, food with locally caught crab & lobster as well as romantic walks along the pier! A little closer to Underhill Coach House is Sleights, a large pretty village which has a post office, general store, Botham’s bakery, award winning butchers, fish and chip restaurant/take away, antique shop, hairdressers and two Public Houses. What more could you want?
