Utopia Apartments is a traditional Cornish Stone house in Perranporth. It is split into 3 apartments. On the first floor are our 2 holiday lets - Penhale and Droskyn. We live in the downstairs apartment. Penhale ('Apartment with Sea View') sleeps up 2 guests in a double bedroom. It has sea views, open plan kitchen dining area and lounge, separate shower room and bedroom. Droskyn ('One Bedroom Apartment') sleeps 2. At the rear of the property with a view over Perranporth, an open plan kitchen/dinning area, separate bedroom and shower room. Both apartments have electric heating and heated towel rails. Cost of electricity is included in the price. We accept one dog per booking. We don't currently charge extra for the dog, on the understanding that guests are as well behaved as their pets, keep them off the furniture & don't leave them alone in the apartments. Utopia is a short walk from town with restaurants, bars and shops and the 3 mile long sandy beach, which means you don't have to drive anywhere. The beach is very dog-friendly, as are most pubs, cafes & restaurants. We are located slightly up a hill (about 50ft above sea level) - this gives us nice views but just be aware it’s a short downhill walk towards town / the beach and the same uphill to get back again. Everybody is different to what feels like a long / steep walk - while 99% of guests don’t even mention it, it can prove a bit of a challenge for some people. One parking space per apartment is provided. Because the accommodation is apartments there is no outside space for guests to sit. We’re happy to store surf boards, bikes etc in the yard round the side of our house behind a gate.

Utopia is run by Paul and Lou. We live in the downstairs apartment. Our aim is to give our guests a warm welcome whilst providing clean and modern self catering apartments in an old Cornish cottage. Perranporth is a very popular holiday location on the North Cornish coastline. It boasts a 3 mile long golden sand beach that is open to the Atlantic swell, making it a popular surfing destination. However if surfing is not your thing, there are loads of other things to do from walking along the cliff paths, golf on famous links course, tennis, paragliding, skydiving, horse riding, or just chilling on the beach. There is also the famous Watering Hole - the pub/restaurant on the beach, which is a fabulous place to enjoy a drink and watch the breathtaking sunsets. Perranporth is also a great base to explore other great attractions in Cornwall, it is centrally located with easy access to the A30, making day trips to Land End, St Ives, Newquay, the Eden Project very accessible.
