Viking Cottage is a cosy, attractive home on the Main Street of Arrochar. With spectacular views from the deck of Loch Long and the Cobbler it is an ideal base to explore Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. We do not have parking onsite but there is public parking across the road and also a metered car park at the head of the Loch, a 5 minute walk. As the house is set off the main road it can be busy/noisy during the day with traffic.

After enjoying Viking Cottage as a cherished family holiday home for over 10 years, I (as importantly chosen family representative) have taken the property under my wing and have now decided to share. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have!

Arrochar is a small village with several pubs that are within walking distance, village shop, post office and petrol station. The house is a great base for those wishing to explore the west of Scotland. With exceptional walking, climbing, mountain biking, horse riding, fishing, sailing and with the city of Glasgow only 45 minutes away by car, there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy! From Arrochar there are several places nearby worth exploring by car. For example; Loch Lomond - 5 mins Luss - 15 mins Loch Fyne - 20 mins Inveraray - 25 mins Helensburgh - 25 mins Glasgow - 45 mins Oban - 1 hour Edinburgh - 1 hour 50 mins The property does not have parking but street parking can be found across the road or nearby at a metered car park. As the house is situated on a main road it can be busy/noisy during the day with traffic.
