Wynberg House is a Welsh home. Our Homestay is located in Sketty just across from Singleton Park and just a minutes walk to Singleton Hospital, Singleton Park and Swansea University. We we are not a hotel or the typical BnB. At Wynberg House we are a home away from home. Warm and cozy beautiful three-story, semi detached Victorian house built in the 1940’s. A unique and spacious traditional Welsh semi detached house at the heart of the desirable and sought after area of Sketty. The property is spread over 3 floors with many original features throughout. Comprising of a ground floor breakfast area and lounge leading out to the sun balcony overlooking Singleton Park. The second floor has a family bath/shower room, water closet next to a boutique guest room and a master bedrooms. On the lower level is an ensuite bedroom, cloakroom and family room on the garden level with doors leading out with entry access. Built by Charles Wynberg, an engineer from South Africa who built it for his family in 1940. Located in Sketty Village and within walking Single Botanical Garden And With distance of the vibrant Sketty Cross with the business trades, shopping, dining and shops.

We love hosting our bed and breakfast and enjoy catering, taking pride in serving our full English breakfast every morning. When we are not hosting, Julien is an artist and paints originals, where he has sold many of his works. We also love to travel in our spare time where we hunting for Collectibles. Melanie especially loves English bone China and porcelain, providing an interesting blend of blue and white especially for the breakfast table.

We are close to the beaches on the Gower peninsula. Swansea university, Singleton Park and Singleton Hospital I are located on Mumbles Road just across from Swansea Bay. Located slightly further to the north is the Tycoch campus of Gower College Swansea, (a further education college) on the corner of Vivian Road and Tycoch Road. The current site of the Bishop Gore School is on the northwestern corner of Singleton Park. The School has been located in the area on De La Beche Road since 1952. Also on De La Beche Road, the Sketty Medical Practice can be found; and on the junction with Gower Road, St. Paul's Church (Church in Wales) is situated. Sketty comprises a mix of housing, from Victorian and Edwardian villas, through pre- and post-war semis and detached houses, to the council estate at Sketty Park.
