A friendly and cozy coast house with all the facilities for up to 8 guests. Two amazing verandas that allow being outdoors all over the year. Ideal for winter or summer vacation. The house is in perfect harmony with the landscape and the sense of calmness sailes you in PARADISE. Aphrodite, was my grandmother, one of the four of Captain Thanasis’s children (three daughters and one son), who had sailed through the Black and the Mediterranean sea, with his “briki” called the “AMITY”, in the late of the 19th century, transporting goods from port to port. Aphrodite inherited the cleverness, the insightfulness and the fact that she really was an open-minded person from her father. So, when it was about time, she preferred to “exchange” her old traditional family house (placed in the center of GALAXIDI, on Mama’s Square) with the wide open horizon home, (a bit further though), on the Kalafatis’s coast. She chose this particular place, mainly because she distinguished 3 advantages in it: 1st nothing could ever blockade this amazing sea view, 2nd the sea is right at “your feet”, and 3rd you can feel the breeze from the mountains. The accomodation regards the house's right side!!!

Although I grew up in Athens, Galaxidi has always been my "home sweet home" (my secret , favorite place) as it was the place where my parents and I used to spend each day of our holidays. Today, I live in Galaxidi permanently , in order to enjoy a more peaceful way of life in the countryside, rather than living in the madness of a large and always busy city. Of course, Athens will always be my essential way Out. I love decorating houses and according to my friends' opinion I'm pretty good at it. The concept is to make everybody feel relaxed, cozy and at home.

Aphrodite’s Coast House is located 800m outside the center of Galaxidi, on Kalafatis Coast. It used to be the place, where Captains fixed their ships, as the sea is pretty shallow there and so they found it easy to unload them. Today, there is a modern beach, and also a pool, a playing yard, a restaurant and a bar. For those who prefer isolation, peace and, swimming in deeper waters, the coast right outside the house will be perfect. The rocks create a natural wide spot where somebody can lay on a towel and enjoy the sun and the crystal waters. The location is magical. It is like a lake being placed on “the Navel of Earth” as it is only 32,4 km far from DELPHI and its famous Museum, the Temple of Apollo and the “PHRYNICHUS” Theater, where during summer, lots of performances take place. 28,8 km far from AMFISSA, the capital of the Municipality of Delphi, in the middle of the larger olive grove of GREECE, numbering approximately 1.200.000 olive trees, a lovely archeological museum and the traditional neighborhood of “HARMAINA” where tanners used to work. 43,7 km far from ARACHOVA the picturesque village, with its famous ski center and its tasteful local products.
