Vourvourou is a tourist resort, including multiple supermarkets and restaurants and offering variable means of entertainment, such as rent a boat services and water sports. Ormos Panagias is a local village, also including supermarkets and restaurants by the sea, which is the departure point of cruises around Mount Athos, a mountain where multiple male orthodox monasteries are located, and to the small island of Ammouliani. There is also a diving center in close proximity. Opposite from the coast that is located in front of the house, multiple small islands, such as Diaporos, with beaches of enchanting beauty and clear blue-green safe waters are located, offering additional sites to visit. Other areas of interest in close proximity are Nikiti, a local village and tourist hotspot, where big supermarkets and small local shops are located alongside multiple restaurants and bars, the local town of Neos Marmaras, the traditional village of Agios Nikolaos, and the quaint historic village of Parthenonas, which offers a marvelous view of the sunset and sea.
