Nestled amongst olive trees and set on a hillside enjoying panoramic views across the local landscape and out to sea, Dafne is a single storey property in an ideal location for those seeking to recharge their batteries. Accommodation is all on one level and comprises of an open plan living, dining and functional kitchen area, with two bedrooms sharing a shower room. The property remains light and airy with high wooden beamed ceilings, traditional floor tiles and a neutral colour scheme of cream hues. Guests can immediately step outside from the living space to the pool terrace to cool off from the Greek summer heat. The attractive seaside village of Agios Nikolaos is a hidden gem and just 5 minutes away (2km) by car. The village is characterized by its stone-built houses and its relaxed pace of life. Fishing boats still bob in the small harbour, where you’ll find local tavernas serving fresh seafood, often caught just hours before. Cafés and shops can be found on the waterfront, the perfect spot to enjoy a refreshing drink or an evening ouzo with views across the Messinian Gulf. Though small and peaceful, Agios Nikolaos has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that captures the spirit of traditional Greek village life. For beach lovers, Pantazi Beach (1.5km) is just a few minutes’ drive away, a favourite for swimming and sunbathing. There is also a beach bar and popular local taverna here. The sought-after resort of Stoupa, with a wider choice of amenities can be found within a 10 minute drive (5km). Famous for its golden sandy beaches and turquoise waters, there are two main beaches here - Stoupa Beach and Kalogria Beach (5.5km) - both perfect for swimming, snorkelling, and relaxing under the Mediterranean sun. Stoupa itself is lively yet peaceful, with traditional tavernas, cafés and small shops lining the coastal promenade. In the evening, visitors and locals gather to enjoy sunset dinners by the sea, fresh seafood, and the relaxed pace of Maniot life.
