Family-run Hotel Elena Beach is located right on the sandy beach of Mavros Molos. It offers rooms with private balconies and features a Cretan restaurant and a beach bar and tavern. Sun beds and sun umbrellas are available on the beach. The bright rooms and suites of the Elena Beach have tile floors, modern furnishings and floor-to-ceiling windows. Most enjoy direct views of Kissamos Bay, and satellite TVs, air conditioning and fridges are standard. Free Wi-Fi is available in the hotel lounge. The Elena Beach serves a daily Continental breakfast. During the day, guests can take lunch or dinner at the hotel’s sea-view tavern with outdoor terrace. For drinks, there is a bar on the beach, as well as in the lobby. Hotel Elena Beach is in Kastelli of Kissamos, 22 miles west of Chania. Boat trips to the islet of Gramvousa and Balos Beach are available daily, from Kastelli’s port. Front desk service includes car rental, and a spacious parking area is available, free of charge.
