Welcome to Fameliti Casa Torre! Tower houses are the emblems of Mani. Stone strongholds that thrust from the rocky land as if to strike the sky itself. Their height was directly related to their defensive ability, but also to the rank and social position of the family to which they belonged. Their construction drew inspiration from Byzantine fortification architecture. Our property is an original 18th century Tower House fully and carefully renovated in 2012 to comfortably host up to 10 guests in its three separate bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. You will definitely feel relaxed by the ambiance of its stone structure, but also from the very comfortable mattresses, the independent air-conditioning, the walk-in showers, the large inside common area that includes a kitchen and small living room as well as the outside patio and dining area with the olive tree valley view. You can enjoy fast WiFi throughout the property and Netflix for free in all the rooms and living room. Stay in this exquisite example of local architecture and you will truly immerse yourself in the local Mani culture and become "The Lord of the Tower House!" :-)

Stavri, where our family tower is located, is one of the most traditional villages you will find in all of the Mani area. Most of the stone houses and tower houses that belong to the families that first inhabited this area, have been restored and thoroughly maintained. You can easily get around on foot and see all of it in less than an hour. There are three Christian orthodox churches and a famous tavern that operates in the summer months which makes our village rather popular during warm summer nights. The village is just 3km off the main road that connects Areopoli with Gerolimenas. You can reach us by car all the way to our gate and you can park inside the property where there is plenty of secure parking space. It's easy to move around the village on foot, if you want to go and eat at the tavern for instance, but for everything else (like shopping, swimming, sight-seeing, etc) you will have to drive. The nearest super-market is on the main road just 4km away and after that Gerolimenas bay is a very popular destination for swimming, coffee, food, etc.
