It is generally believed that experiencing tradition when on vacation means sacrificing amenities that actually make vacations comfortable – well, this is certainly not the case with Gioia’s Traditional House! Built in 1817 at the area of Koiliomenos, a mountain village on the west part of Zakynthos Island with unmatched, pure natural beauty, Gioia’s Traditional House is bound to present you a vacation experience you will not find anywhere else. Gioia’s Traditional House is a traditional building, measuring 100 square meters and easily accommodating up to 5 persons. The fenced outdoors guarantees your privacy, and there is also a private, sheltered parking. Entering the house through its main entrance, you find the living room and the kitchen – which is fully equipped and ready to use. Walking up the wooden staircase, there are two bedrooms (equipped with a queen-sized bed each, whereas the second features a single bed as well) and a bathroom with a shower. The house has an additional bathroom with a bathtub, right outside the main entrance.

Gioia’s Traditional House is located in Koiliomenos, a lovely traditional village on the mountains of western Zakynthos. In Koiliomenos you can visit Korakonissi, a place of natural beauty where the endangered Monachus Monachus seal finds shelter and a spot to enjoy the sunset over the rocks. Additionally, the village features taverns and shops with local products, and works perfectly as a base for excursions to the entirety of Zakynthos, especially to the north.
