We have two neighbouring houses. These houses are from 1968 so called weekend houses of about 50 m2 with a small bathroom. In one we live and the other one we offer to you. The house is completely traditionally furnished, since it is also privately used. You can use what you find, but please don't expect us to refill everything for you. When you come from the beach you can use the shower outside. Please respect the neighbourhood and keep calm after 12 pm till 7 am. We kindly ask you not to throw paper in the toilet since the pipes are too small and we don't have a canal system in Artemida. A cleaning costs as much as 2 of your overnight stays. Further it is not a hotel room, so you have to throw yourself the waste in the public containers which you find everywhere around. The blue containers are for recycling and the green containers for the rest. The shower water heats up with solar energy. The tank collects 160 l. When you empty it you still have the possibility to reheat the water tank with electricity. It takes just 20 min. But please turn off the boiler before taking a shower! When there is south wind we have humidity inside and outside the house. Turning on the air-condition helps get rid of the dampness. Since you are living in nature, there are insects around as well as turtles, stray cats and dogs. In autumn the leaves are falling, which we collect once a day as well we take care of watering the plants. Starting from 2024 we will ask for a deposit. This is just for keeping away bookings trying to get a visa and then cancelling the booking 2 weeks prior arrival, which makes unfortunately 50%. The deposit you will receive back after departure. We won't keep anything for a broken glass. Sh... happens;-) Whatever issues you are facing we are there to help. We want you to have a wonderful stay since we know the importance of a recreational break!

We are a family with an 11 year old boy, a 6 year old girl, 2 cats and a dog.

Here in the close surroundings you will find anything you need: Beach, Minimarket, Pharmacy, Butcher, Bakery and Bus Stop. The bus 304 rides in 90 minutes towards Athens Metro station Nomismatokopeio. We recommend renting a car to get easier to the supermarket, restaurants, beaches or even visit Akropolis, Temple of Sounio, Temple of Artemis in Vravrona, Porto Rafti, the cave in Peania,... or visiting the nearby islands (Andros, Evia, Mykonos,...) via the Port of Rafina which is just in 9.5 Km distance. From Lavrio you can even go by ferry to Tzia. The Airport of Athens is also just in 12 Km distance.
