Our guests say the best thing about Meltemi Villas is the luxurious furnishings, the fully fitted kitchen and its situation. The villas are in Golden Beach directly opposite the beach itself; 3km of fine sand.
My name is Karen, and I am from England. I have been living on Thassos since 1999, when a holiday led to so much more, and I fell in love and married my Thassian husband Stavros! We have 2 children and run a small hotel, and have several villas for rent. The best thing about our job is meeting so many interesting people from different parts of the world.
Golden Beach is a quiet resort consisting of 3km of fine sand encircled by fragrant pine forests. There are a good choice of restaurants from those offering traditional food, with locally caught fish to those who put their own personal spin on traditional food, and elevate it to new heights. Above the bay, in the pine forests are historic quaint stone villages to explore, and there are many summer events to enjoy, from the religious festivals, to those featuring dance, musical performances and food. Thassos has a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
