The Mondo Cosseri Villa Rossa (M.C.V.R.) private estate includes the M.C.V.R.-Dorothea villa which accommodates 6-8 guests and the M.C.V.R.-Penelope which sleeps 5 guests. The estate is only a 220 meter walk away from Vrahinari (Vatsa), which is one of Kefalonia’s best sandy beaches. It is a very quiet, private and safe estate of 6,000 square meters, fully fenced and gated. The estate has more than 100 olive trees which are officially certified as organic/Bio. Consequently, the vines and other plants such as rosemary, wild fennel and lavender are also organic. The estate has many gravel paths for walks and 4 stone terraces/patios. The estate has shaded parking for at least 2 cars. The M.C.V.R.-Dorothea has a full kitchen and a living room. It has a very low-ceiling attic to store luggage. It has its own patio under vine and olive tree pergola with sea view and 1 double hammock, 2 tables, 8 chairs and 4 sun loungers. The M.C.V.R.-Penelope cottage consists of 2 studios. The larger studio at Penelope cottage sleeps 3, has a kitchenette and has its own balcony surrounded by wooden trellis and railing, offering privacy. The balcony has 1 table, 3 chairs and 2 sun loungers. The smaller studio at Penelope cottage sleeps 2, has a kitchenette and has its own patio in the front, overhang with olive branches, bougainvillea and vines. The patio has 1 table, 2 chairs and 2 sun loungers. The villa is ideal for children as the entire property is fenced. For babies there is one crib per accommodation in addition to some linen and a raised chair. Your dogs can run freely and play within the fenced property. Prior arrangement is necessary and the payment of a cash deposit to the host to cover any damage, returnable at the end of the stay. A raised set of dog bowls is available. There is air conditioning and insect screens in all internal spaces.

Guests staying at Mondo Cosseri Villa Rossa-Dorothea and M.C.V.R.-Penelope have exclusive access throughout the estate, except for a few areas, which are fenced in order to prevent any accidents. Vas' (the owner) second home is in the 3-story building within the property. If he happens to be around, he and his guests will stay discreetly away. They will not be using the pool, however they may share the garden and the patio near the sea with the guests from the Dorothea and Penelope accommodations.

From the property, it is only a 3 minutes walk to the nearest beach of Vrahinari. This sandy beach has a cozy beach bar and offers sun loungers and thatched parasols for hire. A rock formation separates Vrahinari from its sister beach, Vatsa. Thus you can get to Vatsa either by swimming from Vrahinari beach or by walking a short distance. Sandy Vatsa has several thatched parasols and flanks the estuary of the Vatsa stream, a popular hangout for ducks! There is a waterpark only 5 minutes drive away. It is a 10 minutes drive to the beaches of Xi and Megas Lakkos with tavernas, bars and watersports. Other beaches within a reasonable driving distance: include Petani, Atheras and Platia Ammos. There are three restaurants (tavernas) within walking distance. In the town of Lixouri there is a post office, banks, chemists, supermarkets, hairdressers, coffee shops, zaharoplasteia (pastry shops), tavernas and grillhouses. Sports/activities: There is a water amusement park nearby and around Lixouri a sailing school, horseback riding, and fishing day-excursions. From Argostoli there are day-trips with a glass boat, trips to the famous beach of Navagio at Zante (if it is still accessible), and so on.
