The location of the establishment is one of the best in Hydra, very peaceful and relaxing and very convenient (close to the town and beaches and some of the best restaurants/bars, still very quiet though). The neighborhood is totally safe, relatively new, some houses were built in the '90s according to very strict urban planning rules to preserve the traditional architecture of the island and suit the very old renovated ones. Just above Avlaki beach, in a 10-minute walking distance to the town along the cobbled promenade, which connects the beach with the port, doted with elegant cafes, bars and restaurants and swimming spots on the rocks. Techne, Hydronetta, Omilos, Sunset, Spilia, Omilos, Papagalos offer nice dishes and drinks and wonderful sea views. Also 10 minutes in the opposite direction you get to Kamini beach and 18th century fort-like Castello restaurant, if you can resist the temptation of Pefkaki appetizers or the wonderful sunset from the atrium of Kondylenia on your way there. And if you are into hiking you just continue to Vlychos beach and further to Plakes beach.
