Seablue137 is a perfect retreat for those looking to experience the beauty of Corfu, by the sea. The privately owned and renovated apartment is situated on the Menigos Resort and offers breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea and Mountains. The airconditioned, raised upper floor apartment is accessible via few steps and has a lovely balcony with full sea view. With an open plan lounge and kitchen, separate shower room and large bedroom, the apartment is perfect for 2. For those arriving by car, there is a private parking space outside the apartment, or if you prefer local transport, a bus stop 5 mins walk away. The beach is approximately 100 metres (a few minutes walk via slight slope or steps). There are a handful of tavernas& restaurants, a beach bar, two fast food places and a couple of small shops, all within a few mins walk. (They usually open around early May and close early-October depending on the demand)
Life is short and everyone has something that they are passionate about. I didn't let fear hold me back and I built SeaBlue137 with good standards. I followed my heart and i built-in it in my apartment. My goal is to have satisfied and happy guests. I try to treat them the way that I want to be treated. I trust my intuition and I believe that when you fill your life with positivity your life naturally becomes positive. I believe that when I think positive, the positive things will happen. I am a tough person who has made it through tough times. Anyone can run away, but facing problems and working through them makes me strong. I am a responsible and outspoken person. I am grateful. Glyfada is in the middle of Corfu on the west coast and lies about 16km from the capital Kerkyra. It generally takes about half an hour in the car to make the trip across the island to the main town and about the same for the airport. There are a bunch of restaurants, mainly based around the beach and a few hotels and apartments, again largely around the beach front but also in the surrounding area. The best thing about Glyfada, and the main reason that people choose to stay here is that it’s based around one of the best beaches in Corfu, the beach has soft golden sand and imposing cliffs surrounding it. It also has plenty of sun loungers available and water sports to keep everyone busy throughout the day. Menigos resort, Glyfada is a small and relatively quiet resort, there are no late night bars or clubs or any other lively evening entertainment. If you want a night out then it’s simple enough to head over to Kerkyra where you’ll find a lot more to keep all ages entertained. Buses from here go to Corfu Town, passing Aqualand, the largest water park on the island, and also going near the golf course in the Ropa Valley. Glyfada isn't just about the great beach, there's also Mirtiotissa beach, which is a small beach often frequented by nudists that’s just a couple of minutes up the road. As well as these, there are also some fantastic walking trails in the woods around the village. If you have a car then you can travel to nearby Pelekas which is just 10 minutes drive away. It's a traditional Greek village that’s become a bit of a hub for back packers.
