Our property means a lot to my family.We have put a lot of effort and a lot of love to it.We want our customers to be happy and come back to us as good friends in the future. The village is a very friendly area with the the beach less than 200 metres from the cottages and shops, supermarkets, restaurants , one of them is ours at about 200 metres also from the cottages. Also chemist shop in very short distance and many more.
I don't like talking about myself but I love life and everything I do.I work very hard in our family restaurant and the cottages and also I grow veggies for our own use.We make our olive oil and we grow oranges avocados and more.I have published a book about the local history and I love telling stories to good friends and customers.The many thousands of photos I have on fb tell a lot but most of all I love my family and when I find spare time I walk on our mountains and swim in our near by beach.As a young man in the very poor times I worked in the coal mines of Belgium, in Holland and in Australia but I was Ali the time home sick as I was born in Crete so I came back for good and I hope to see you my friends and share some stories too.
Gerani is a small village in the island of Crete 14 kilometres West of Chania on the way to Kisamos and the so well known beaches of Balos,Falasarna and Elafonisi.Its a nice quite village and in the winter the locals work picking their olives oranges avocados and more.In the Somers time becomes alive with the tourism.Some hundreds of beds in the area with a few restaurants supper markets a bakery a chemist and some more shops.There is public transport to Chania all Summer every 20 minutes and buses run 24 hours a day.The fare is 2.20Euro to the town.2 kilometres from the village is Platanias with night life and lots of souvenir shops.Our beach is never too crowded and you can choose from Sandy to pebble parts on it.
