Gradac is a center of a municipality which consists of places Brist, Drvenik, Gradac, Podaca and Zaostrog. It lies underneath the Rilić mountain. On the Crkvina site remains from the roman period where found, which should mean that in the 2nd and a 3rd century a large roman building excised there. Remains of baths, granite pillars, sarcophagus and coins were also found.
