Casa Bel Olivo is a modern reconstruction of an authentic Istrian house spreading over 3 floors. Being restored with lots of passion and care, our house efficiently preserves vintage soul in the modern interpretation. Wooden and stone elements are present on every corner, perfectly merging with artworks and some rare pieces of 1800's & 1900's furniture. Our family is one of the biggest producers of extra virgin olive oil in Istria branded by the name Meloto, therefore a tasting of our product can be arranged at our olive oil tasting room on demand. Likewise, a bike rental can be arranged on demand.
Mia and Sven, a couple of law students passionate about life and all the little things that make it better. We enjoy traveling ourselves, exploring new cultures and food. We are going to do our best to make you feel at home and have a pleasant and wonderful experience staying at our house.
Situated in the heart of a small medieval town of Vodnjan in the south of Istrian peninsula, Casa Bel Olivo offers a perfect place for a quiet vacations including plenty of extra possibilities. In the city of Vodnjan itself, you can explore doezents of romantic narrow streets, experience sacral herritage including perfectly preserved mummies in the Church of St. Blaise, taste some of the best olive oils in the world or have a sip of authentic wines, a bite of prosciutto, cheese and truffles. Istria's biggest town Pula is located 10 km on the south, Fažana with its magnificent national park - Brijuni Islands is located 8km south-west, while one of the most romantic and visited cities in Europe - Rovinj is located 25km north-west. The location makes a perfect starting point if you enjoy exploring area by bicycle.
