Sira Beach House is a sublime, 6-bedroom beachfront villa in Lombok set within six acres of coconut grove facing the white sands and turquoise waters of pristine Sira Beach. Beautifully crafted from local materials and embellished with fascinating art and antiques, this eco-friendly villa makes full use of environmental technologies to create a low impact, authentic Lombok experience. With an 18-metre pool, tennis court, water sports equipment, media room and projector screen on site, and the fabulous Lombok Kosaido golf course just moments away, families and groups will find plenty to keep themselves amused in this fully staffed tropical island escape. Please note: Sira Beach House is a 6-bedroom villa that can accommodate up to 12 guests. Guests booking the 8-person rate will have access to 4 bedrooms (2 bedrooms will be locked)

Neighbourhood information

From the beach there is a panoramic vista of the mountains, the coastline, the tiny port of Bangsal and the Gili Islands. Sira Beach is safe for all levels of swimmers, and a great place to while away the hours beachcombing. For golf enthusiasts, the uncrowded and serene Lombok Golf Kosaido Country Club (situated next door) offers stunning panoramas of the sea and the Rinjani mountain range. Hotel Tugu (2km) has a fascinating collection of artefacts and curios and is well worth the five minute walk along the beach, and both the Tugu and The Oberoi Lombok (9km) are great options for lunch, dinner or sunset cocktails. Boats head out from Bangsal harbour (4km) to the Gili Islands, laden down with pearl sellers, building materials, panniers of vegetables, chickens and the occasional goat or cow. But Bangsal itself is probably not worth visiting unless you’re heading to the Gilis– which we certainly do recommend. The market in Tanjung (9km) is also worth a trip. A novel new activity is the high-tech kitchen and cookery school at Sapi Culinary, next to Villa Sapi, just a five-minute drive away.
