Sumatra Surf Resort faces the longest and best left handed reef break in the region "Ujung Bocur". There is heaps of other quality breaks within 15 minutes of the resort which our surf guide can take you to. The resort is set amongst towering Coconut Palms and consists of 14 individual bungalows, all with views of the ocean, pool and gardens. The bungalows are Indonesian themed with western bathrooms that are fitted with hot water showers and all bungalows are air conditioned. bungalows have Wi-Fi and Smart Tv's as standard. We have bungalows fitted with queen size beds for couples. The Warong is the heart and soul of the resort and houses our restaurant, chill lounge and bar. The Warong has a pool table, Satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. You can watch Netflix, AFL, NRL and the WSL live at the Warong. We have a sparkling 15m swimming pool perfect for a dip after your session, lookout tower and beach deck to watch the magical sunsets over the ocean with an icy cold Bintang. Good Surf, Good Times, Good Friends and Great Memories are what you will experience at Sumatra Surf Resort. PLEASE NOTE: During high season 1/4-31/10 bungalows are twin share due to high demand. There is a wave for every level of surfer that comes here. From long carveable barrels at Ujung Bocur, heavy dredging beasts like Way Jambu , fun lefts at Krui to ripping beach sessions at Mandiri you will always score a fun session that will have you coming back for more. If you want to do a bit of exploring there is plenty to see and do! Go jungle trekking and take a tube down the river, hike up to Krui Waterfall, visit the markets and barter with the locals, take a trip to beautiful Banana Island, snorkel out on the reef you might spot a turtle! Or just chill by the pool sipping on a fresh coconut.
