Our names are Rene and Tom and we own Secluded Bali Villas. Although originally from Indonesia and the UK respectively we have lived as far afield as Azerbaijan, UK, Thailand and Malaysia. In July 2008 we both gave up our high stress corporate jobs and took the plunge and committed to only managing and marketing our own villas in Bali, as well those of other like minded owners. We wanted to do it properly however, and so using Tom's corporate background, and Rene's background in hotel management, we registered as a company, set up all the systems and processes, and established an office in Bali as well. Our approach is very personal. We personally know all the villa owners, and visit and inspect every villa every few weeks. We will only ever look after a limited number of villas and now manage and market 18 villas, 4 our own including Villa Talia Vashti (our very first villa!) Needless to say our life has totally changed. When we started we did pretty much everything ourselves, but now do have a great team of staff to help you. Villa Talia Vashti is a Laid-Back fully-serviced private villa situated right on the southern shore of the tropical island paradise of Bali, close to the resort of Candidasa. With picture perfect ocean views reaching across to the neighbouring islands of Nusa Penida and Lombok Islands. A three bedroom villa that comfortably accommodates up to 6 adults (plus up to two small children) in three spacious bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, balcony lounge area and views out to the ocean. Villa Talia Vashti is located only a few minute’s walk away from the traditional village of Mendira, and the bars, restaurants and the white sands of the area (or around 150m to swim/snorkel). Directly in front of the villa around 100m offshore is a vibrant coral reef, which not only provides shelter from the big waves that roll in from the open ocean, but also means that snorkeling and swimming conditions in front of the villa are ideal for children and adults alike. Separate shallow kid’s pool Outdoor Bar Just a few minutes’ walk to Mendira beach for laid back bars and restaurants and shops. Quiet location with no traffic or other noise. Candidasa centre is a few minutes’ drive, and most restaurants/tours will pick you up at no extra cost.

Villa Talia Vashti is located close to a lovely traditional Balinese village called Mendira. Almost all our staff come from the local village, and they are always there to help you to explore and experience some local ceremonies and delicacies such as Babi Guling (Balinese Suckling Pig). Mendira beach is just a short walk away, with a great selection of restaurants and bars, and a flat sand beach ideal for little ones to sit and paddle and play on. For live music, shops and yet more laid-back ocean front restaurants, Candidasa is less than 5 minutes drive away, and most restaurants will pick you up and drop you off for free if you are eating there. Candidasa is also the centre for diving in Bali, with great diving right in front, but also Tulumben, Amed and Padang Bai all easily reached. Also beautiful temples, fun water palaces, spectacular rice field walks, and the best untouched beach in Bali (White Sand Beach), are all close by. In front of Villa Talia Vashti is a coral reef, and a lagoon that is perfect for snorkeling (we provide kit, but there is a fee just to enable us to regularly replace and update the kit).
