This dog friendly accommodation is in a unique Shepherds Hut. Situated 2 min walk from a blue flag beach where you can either go for a swim or walk for hours immersed in nature, listening to the water and the birds sing. A 5 min drive brings you to the Cooley Peninsula which has breath taking views of Carlingford Lough and Mountains of Mourne. You can also pop into the village of Carlingford and sample the delicious food on offer. There are many dog friendly places to eat in also. Accommodation is close to the car ferry in Greenore where you can take a trip to Greencastle in Northern Ireland. Why not cycle the fantastic Greenway from Carlingford to Omeath to really take in the views of this beautiful location. This accommodation is situated 1 hour from Dublin and Belfast making it an idea location to get out of the city without having to travel too far.

This is such a tranquil location. Nested in a mature garden, the Shepherds Hut is surrounded by nature. Sit out the front and listen to the waves and listen the birds singing. A short walk brings you to the most beautiful beach which is fantastic both in winter and summer
