The 15th-century Garrykennedy Castle Harbour ruins are a major tourist attraction in this ancient town, where visitors may park their boats and explore the gorgeous region, which includes a playground, a modern harbour, and numerous BBQ areas. Award-winning Larkins Restaurant and Roy Breen Public House, as well as a convenience shop in Portroe, south of Garrykennedy, are some of the dining options in the area.
