Within a ten minute drive is Connemara Sands Hotel, and the local commercial centre - Ballyconneely with Keogh's of Ballyconneely bar and shop. The local town, and Capital of Connemara, Clifden, is a twenty minute drive with a choice of shopping, cafe's, bars and restaurants. For taxi service to and from Ballyconneely of Clifden is available year round and booking is always essential, more details available on request from host. Miles upon miles of the unspoilt "Mannin Commonage" is welcome to all walkers/joggers/ramblers who follow the welcoming signage of local landowners. The terrain includes some of the most picturesque white sandy beaches you will ever find, rolling sand dunes and rocky coastline, acres and acres to wander - beautiful and so remote you might not see another person even on a blue sky summer's day
