Ballinamuck is a small village located in Co.Longford. It is a beautiful place to explore holding may popuar amenities. Famous for its history there are many historic areas in the village where you can learn about the 'Battle of Ballinamuck' which occured in 1798. Some local community attractions which must not be missed are Johnny's Cottage and the 98 bar which regularly offers Irish trad music. Both of which are located just a 2 minute walk from our property. The village itself has a local grocery shop which opens from 08.30hrs to 20:00hrs each day. There is a hair salon & beautician located just a 5 minute walk from the property. There is many beautiful nature walks and scenic views in the area to enjoy. The next major town is Longford which is a 20 minute drive from the property. We are situated 1hour 30mins from Dublin airport. We are on the border of Co.Leitrim and Co.Cavan. Carrick on Shannon is a 30 mins drive famous for its cruises on the river shannon, lively night life and has many things to do for children. Center Parcs, Lough Key Forest Park and Tayto Park are all the ideal day trip while staying with us.
