Reads Park is a modern, purpose build Holiday Cottage, designed to be clean, comfortable and a "Home from Home" containing everything you need for a stress free holiday. The views from the decking area at the back of the property are stunning, looking out over the Galty Mountain range which can change colour from day to day, and hour to hour. You will never get tired of looking at them. The garden in large, and well laid out, but not formal, housing chickens, kids swings area, and plenty of trees, plants and shrubs. There are horses (usually) in the field across the road, birds singing most of the day, and a rural, slow pace that sets us apart from the towns and cities.
We love welcoming guests to Reads Park Holiday Cottage. We built it with you in mind. We've travelled a good bit, and tried to avoid all the bad things we found in various types of accommodation throughout the parts of the world that we visited, and tried to include all the good bits. We don't clutter the place up - we want it to feel like yours when you put your stuff in - so it is exceptionally clean and clutter free when you come in. The minute you unpack - it feels like home. We are there if you need us - and we leave you alone if you don't. We always meet and greet our Guests, answer any questions, and help where we can. We can't control the weather, but we can control how warm the welcome is!
In the Mountains there are 5 lakes to find and enjoy, endless walks, horse-riding within 5 minutes, a shooting range, activity centres for the sporty and adventurous, loads of Golf Clubs to try, and we are centrally and ideally located for site seeing in any direction. You need a car to truly explore and enjoy the exceptional scenery, but in the evenings, there are 3 local pubs within easy walking distance to try out, with live music features in them from time to time, so you can leave the car at home. Within a 15 minute drive of Galbally, there is a wide variety of restaurants and shops in Mitchelstown, (or you can visit the famous caves) or shop in Historic Tipperary Town, trace your ancestors or just take in the small shops of the small but busy town. See castles, ruined abbeys, farms, fields and lots more in this beautiful part of the country, all at your own pace - no rush!
