Dalhousie Cottage is a 150 yrs old British Bunglow well maintained and with all modern amenities Located in the most posh area of Nainital.The Bunglow was purchased by my Grandfather from Britishers in the year 1906 and during the British Raj it was the residence of top British Officials . Some of the old furniture in intact and is beeing used The property is surrounded by oak forest and has a garden with green lawns on 2 sides. The property is only 1.5 km from the main town of Nainital and is situated on the main road from Barapatthar to Sheerwood College.Kids friendly, spacious, unique and tranquil getaway.Perfect holiday home for nature lovers with a lot of Bird life and nature trails and adventure activities .Nainital is a bird watchers paradise , a large number of bird species are easily seen in and around the property .We even have a feeding place for birds where Kalij Pheasant, Hill Patridge ,Oriental Turtle Dove, Blue Whistling Thrush, Sibia, Uratian Jay,White throated Laughing Thrush .A no of Web series and Movies have been shot here eg. Mrs Serial Killer( Jacqueline Fernandese& Manoj Bajpai),Candy(Richa chadda) ,Breathe 2( Amit Shaad ), Tapsee Pannu starer BLURR The Homestay is a 2BHK on the !st floor,me and my family live inthe ground floor.There is a separate gate and parking for the guests and there are stairs for the 1st floor.

Bird watching, Hiking , trekking , rockclimbing and gardening and have travelled extensively in Uttrakhand I love interacting with guests and informing them about Nainital history, culture and places of tourist interest in and around Nainital I am a retired Bank employee and live here with my wife

The cottage is situaded in a forest area and shares boundary with AYAR JUNGLE RESORT.There are several hiking trails in the area . The property is very close to Cave Garden .Botanical Garden,, Lands End and Governers House. Nainital lake is at a walking distance down hill.The famous Himalaya Darshan and Water fall are 15 minutes drive.You can either go on foot or Horse back to Tiffin top and enjoy the views of Naini lake ,Himalayas and the Plains
