We welcome you to enjoy the charm of Reykjavík from our bright and cozy studio, nestled in the charming neighbourhood of Vesturbær, just minutes from downtown. Our small but well arranged studio offers a private, serene atmosphere with a spacious balcony, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. It's few steps from the sea and few minutes walk to Grandi, Reykjavík's second city centre, where you find three big grocery stores and many restaurants and museums. Our little studio is in a fantastic location, in a calm neighbourhood but in a walking distance from the city centre, to the sea, to the charming swimming pool of Vesturbæjarlaug and to the neighbourhood of Grandi, where you find café's, restaurants, museums and three big supermarkets. The studio is equipped with everything you need for your stay in the city, and is newly renovated. It is perfect for one person but can comfortably fit two. The bed is queen size and very comfortable. There is also a little sofa bed. NOTE! Please note that the building is located in front of a school, so there might be some noise from children playing during the day. The stairway of the building is always kept clean and tidy. NOTE! The studio is located on the 3rd floor (1st floor being counted as the ground floor) and there is no elevator. There is free parking in the street and one spot in the parking in front of the house.

Hi! We are Bjarney, from Iceland and Manuel, from Mexico. We are currently living in Reykjavík, Iceland. We are really enjoying the experience of hosting and welcoming guests both to our beautiful studio in the center and to our cabin. We love travelling and have visited quite a lot of places together, usually choosing to stay with Airbnb hosts, through which we have understood what is expected from a great stay. So our aim as hosts is to provide to you the best experience we can. We are easy going and positive people who are open to new cultures and we like meeting people from different backgrounds. Vesturbær is a charming neighborhood (our favorite in Reykjavík) that offers a perfect blend of being central and full of activities and places to visit but still calm. Start your day with a delightful cup of coffee at HYGGE café, where the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff will make you feel right at home. Afterward, take a leisurely stroll along the scenic coastline and soak in the breathtaking views of the sea. For a refreshing swim, head over to the Vesturbæjarlaug swimming pool, a local favorite with its geothermal hot tubs and family-friendly atmosphere. Discover great restaurants in Grandi, which is Reykjavík's second centre, where you can enjoy a variety of dining options that cater to every taste. Among our favorites is Hraðlestin, and indian restaurant, Flatey, a pizza restaurant and Lamb. There is also a food hall with variety of options. In Grandi you will find plenty of galleries and museums and you don’t want to miss out on the incredible FlyOver Iceland experience, a must-see attraction that takes you on a breathtaking virtual journey across Iceland’s most stunning landscapes.
